The geographic data comes from ArcGIS via a TopoJSON file processed with TopoJSON’s `feature` and `mesh` APIs, while waste data is loaded from a CSV using `d3.csv`. The map uses a Mercator projection with `d3.geoMercator` and renders paths via `d3.geoPath`. Built in React with D3 v6, it includes an SVG render and a graticule layer for spatial reference.
