Primus Album Personnel

An album × musician matrix of Primus personnel credits, built with React and D3.

Files

• index.html — page shell and import map (React + D3 from a CDN).
• index.jsx — mounts the <App /> component.
• App.jsx — loads config and dataset, handles Visual Editor messages, renders the legend.
• viz.js — D3 render entry point.
• renderPersonnelMatrix.js — draws the album × musician grid.
• useContainerDimensions.js — tracks the container size.
• config.json — editable appearance parameters (used by the Visual Editor).
• data/primus_album_personnel.csv — Primus album personnel dataset.
• data/primus_albums.csv — Primus album catalog dataset.
• styles.css — page styles.

Visual Editor controls

• Cell padding — gap between matrix cells.
• Cell corner radius — rounding of each cell.
• Left / Top margin — space reserved for musician and album labels.
• Label font size — size of row and column labels and footer.
• Show album labels / Show musician labels / Show footer — visibility toggles.
• Album sort — ascending or descending release-year order.
• Core band color — fill for core band credits.
• Highlight stroke — outline color for the selected cell.

Edits are written to config.json and applied live without reloading the dataset.
