A pie chart displays year-to-date auto sales by brand for 2022, with each slice sized by sales volume and a legend showing brand colors, percentage of total, and sales in thousands. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `pie`, `arc`, `scaleOrdinal`, and `svg` selection APIs to render SVG paths and legend elements. Data is loaded from a CSV file hosted on GitHub Gist via `d3.csv`.
