Five fruit circles appear in a row, then animate through removal and type changes over time. The visualization demonstrates the general update pattern with smooth transitions for entering, updating, and exiting SVG elements. It uses d3.scaleOrdinal for color and radius mapping, and d3-transition's `.transition().duration()` to animate circle radius, position, and removal. The code is built with React, d3 v5, and renders to SVG.
