This example demonstrates how a D3.js bar chart can update all of its displayed data at once in response to a user click. A static dataset of 20 numeric values is initially rendered as blue-hued bars with white value labels. After clicking the paragraph text, the chart swaps in a second, reordered dataset. The update process uses D3's selectAll, data, and attribute methods to apply new heights, vertical positions, fill colors, and label text to the existing SVG rectangles and text elements, without re-creating the chart structure.
