This reusable scatter plot template displays the Iris dataset, mapping petal length against sepal length and encoding species through different D3 symbol shapes. The visualization uses d3.csv for data loading, d3.scaleLinear for axes, d3.scaleOrdinal with d3.symbols for categorical markers, and d3.axisLeft/axisBottom for the labeled axes. All rendering is SVG-based, generated imperatively through a customizable function that accepts margins, label positions, and symbol size parameters.
