This example shows the top 10 countries by deaths in 2020 attributed to air pollution as an SVG pie chart. The visualization uses d3.pie and d3.arc to generate the chart segments and a color scale with d3.scaleOrdinal. It loads data from a CSV file via d3.csv and displays a legend listing each country with its death count formatted in thousands. The chart is rendered with D3 v5 and uses an async fetch function to process the data before drawing.
