It uses the `d3.csv` method to fetch and parse the data from a remote URL, then formats the output with `d3.csvFormat`. An alternative approach using the Fetch API with `async/await` and `d3.csvParse` is shown in commented-out code. The result is rendered as plain text in a large HTML `<pre>` element.
