Three large circles form the face of a smiley character: a yellow head with a black outline and two black eyes. The example demonstrates basic SVG circle primitives and static attribute styling. The head circle uses fill, stroke, and stroke-width attributes, while the eye circles rely on default black fill. The visualization does not yet include the smiling mouth, as the title and README indicate it is the first step toward completing the figure. No JavaScript libraries or data sources are involved; the entire graphic is hardcoded in the SVG markup.
