A choropleth map colors countries by economic classification, using a categorical color scale with seven development categories. Interactive filtering lets users click legend items to highlight countries in a selected category, dimming all others. The map renders with d3.geoPath and a natural Earth projection, while d3.zoom enables panning and zooming. Data comes from the World Atlas TopoJSON and TSV files, processed via topojson.feature.
