This example shows the frequency of each letter in the English language as a bar chart, with orange bars that darken on hover. A tooltip appears on mouseover to display the precise frequency value. Built with D3 v3, it uses ordinal and linear scales, SVG axes, and the d3-tip plugin for tooltips. The data comes from a TSV file and is parsed with a custom type function.
