This example shows a horizontal bar chart of 2010 population figures for 20 countries, with bars sorted by country name and labeled in billions. The visualization uses React to render SVG elements, with D3 v5’s `scaleBand` and `scaleLinear` for positioning, and d3-format’s `format('.2s')` for tick labels. Data is loaded asynchronously from a CSV via `d3.csv`, and hover tooltips are provided through SVG `<title>` elements.
