This example presents a hand-coded, minimal approximation of a scatter plot. It shows two graphical marks on a blank SVG canvas: a solid black circle and a thick black polyline. The visualization does not use a charting library but relies on raw SVG elements written directly in HTML. The circle is positioned using its center coordinates and radius, while the polyline is defined by a series of absolute coordinates in the path’s `d` attribute.
