Five circles representing fruit transition through a bowl using the general update pattern, with apples rendered larger in red and lemons smaller in yellow. The animation removes, replaces, and filters fruits sequentially over time, demonstrating enter, update, and exit selections. Built with d3.v5, the code uses `scaleOrdinal` for color and radius, `transition().duration(1000)` for smooth SVG circle animations, and `merge` to handle state changes.
