This map displays Mexico’s states using a Mercator projection with d3.geoPath and d3.geoMercator. It fetches TopoJSON data from a GitHub gist, converts it with topojson.feature, and renders each state as a green SVG path with yellow borders. A blue graticule overlay is drawn using d3.geoGraticule. The visualization is built with React, which loads the data asynchronously via d3.json and displays a loading message until the geometry is ready.
