This example displays a filtered car report in a plain-text format, showing only vehicles priced below a specified maximum. A list of five cars with year, make, model, and price is defined as JSON and parsed from a string. The code uses JavaScript array methods `filter`, `map`, and `join` to generate the report, and the result is inserted into a `<pre>` element via the Document Object Model’s `getElementById` and `textContent`. The report format is built with template literals.
