This visualization displays missing migrant incidents on a world map as semi-transparent circles. The map uses a D3 geographic projection (geoNaturalEarth1) with SVG paths for land, graticules, and country interiors rendered through d3.geoPath. Circle radii encode the total dead and missing count via d3.scaleSqrt, and the data comes from the Missing Migrants Global dataset. The React-based component loads world topology from TopoJSON and plots each incident at its parsed coordinates from the CSV.
