This visualization displays the maximum life expectancy (in months) of twelve dog breeds using a horizontal bar chart. The chart ranks breeds along the y-axis with bar lengths proportional to their life expectancy values. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses `d3.csv` to load data from a GitHub gist, `scaleBand` for the categorical y-axis, `scaleLinear` for the numeric x-axis, and renders SVG rectangles. Red gridlines are drawn from `xScale.ticks()` to aid readability.
