This fork of the D3 Starter example displays the text “Hello D3” in the center of a blank webpage. It uses the D3 v7 selection API, `d3.select`, to target the `body` element and replace its content with a text string. The page’s styling, defined in `index.html`, sets a large font size and top margin to center the message visually. Rendering relies on a JavaScript module that imports the `select` function directly from the D3 library.
