This example demonstrates a simple asynchronous data report rendered to the page. It shows a loading message, then after a simulated two-second delay, displays a text list of cars made in or after the year 2000, formatted as “Make was made in Year.” The code uses a Promise in `getCars` to fetch hardcoded JSON data, `filter` and `map` in `generateReport`, and plain DOM manipulation via `document.getElementById` to update the `<pre>` element. React is referenced in metadata but not used in the runtime code.
