This example visualizes country populations as a bar chart with horizontal bars, using a linear scale for population values and a band scale for country names. Built with D3.js v5 in React, it renders SVG elements and includes axes generated by `axisLeft` and `axisBottom`. The code loads data from `data.csv`, parses numeric population values, and appends rectangles with widths proportional to population. Margins and transforms position the chart, while CSS styles the bars in steelblue.
