This example displays an India-focused choropleth map, extracting the country's geometry from a TopoJSON world dataset and fitting a Mercator projection to its boundaries. The visualization renders the mapped region as a single dark SVG path using D3 v5’s `d3.json`, `d3.geoMercator`, and `d3.geoPath` methods, with the TopoJSON client converting the country feature into GeoJSON. The code loads the world-atlas dataset from a CDN and draws the result on a 960×500 pixel SVG canvas.
