This example displays a blank world map using SVG, with country boundaries rendered from TopoJSON data loaded from the world-atlas package. The code imports `select` and `json` from d3, along with `feature` from topojson, to convert the TopoJSON topology into GeoJSON features. However, the visualization only logs the parsed country data to the console—it does not yet draw any geographic paths with `d3.geoPath`. The map remains empty, showing only the SVG container prepared for future rendering.
