This D3.js sketch recreates Sol LeWitt’s geometric wall drawing by rendering a dense grid of thin horizontal and vertical bars across the full browser window. The bars intersect within a circular region defined by two SVG masks, producing a stark black-and-white composition. Using d3.select and data joins, the code efficiently draws 100 lines in each direction, while the masks invert visibility—white reveals the horizontal set, black reveals the vertical—creating a precise, layered optical pattern.
