This bar chart displays the top 10 countries by total merchandise exports in 2017, based on World Trade Organization data. It uses D3 v5 with SVG rendering, employing `scaleLinear` for the value axis and `scaleBand` for categorical country labels. The code loads data via `csv`, appends axes with `axisLeft` and `axisBottom`, and draws green rectangles sized by export values. The chart highlights relative export magnitudes, with China leading, followed by the United States and Germany.
