This scatter plot visualizes the distribution of film rating percentages across genres using the Iris dataset. It uses D3 v6's `scaleLinear`, `scaleOrdinal`, `axisLeft`, `axisBottom`, and `symbol` APIs to map the ‘5.0-6.5’ and ‘6.5-7.5’ rating columns to Cartesian coordinates, with genres encoded by both color and shape (circles and crosses). Each point is an SVG `path` with a tooltip showing genre and coordinates. The underlying CSV is fetched via `d3.csv` from a GitHub repository.
