The visualization uses D3’s geographic projections (`geoNaturalEarth1`, `geoPath`, `geoGraticule`) combined with React and SVG rendering. Circle sizes are scaled with `scaleSqrt`, and the map includes land masses, interior borders, graticules, and a sphere background. Data comes from a CSV of Missing Migrants Global records, while world geography uses TopoJSON from the world-atlas package.
