This scatter plot visualizes the relationship between horsepower and torque for different car makes. Each point’s shape encodes the car’s manufacturer, with a legend on the right identifying the shape-to-make mapping. The visualization uses D3 v7 APIs including `scaleLinear`, `scaleOrdinal`, `symbolsFill`, `symbol`, and `axisBottom`/`axisLeft` for axes. Data is loaded asynchronously from a CSV file hosted on GitHub, fetched via the `fetch` API and parsed with `csvParse`. The plot renders as an SVG, sized to the full browser window.
