This example displays a horizontal bar chart showing the top 10 most populated countries in the year 2000, sorted in descending order by population. The visualization uses d3.csv to load population data from a GitHub-hosted CSV file, then filters and sorts the dataset. Bars are rendered as SVG rectangles using D3 v7’s scaleLinear for the x-axis and scaleBand for the categorical y-axis.
