This fork of a choropleth map colors world countries by their economy classification using a spectral ordinal color scale, with hover highlighting and a legend showing category colors. It loads GeoJSON data from the world-atlas TopoJSON files and merges it with TSV metadata to attach economy labels to each country. A natural Earth projection renders the map via d3.geoPath, while d3.zoom enables panning and zooming. The color legend is built with custom SVG code, and the styling uses standard CSS hover effects.
