This example shows a small network of five people (John, Marcus, Jane, Clara, and Nice) and their connections, rendered as circles and lines in an SVG. A d3.forceSimulation with link, charge, and center forces positions the nodes, and the circle and line positions update on each tick via d3.select calls. The data comes from a JSON file with node IDs and link references. The code uses D3 v6 to create the elements and run the force layout.
