This example displays a world map with country boundaries, using a cylindrical equal-area projection. The map renders graticules, land masses, and interior country borders as SVG paths, built from World Atlas TopoJSON data. The code uses React for component structure, `d3.geoPath` for path generation, `d3.geoCylindricalEqualArea` for projection, and `topojson` utilities to convert TopoJSON into GeoJSON features and mesh boundaries. The styling applies a red sphere, grey interiors, and black graticules.
