A choropleth map visualizes the global prevalence of HIV/AIDS among adults aged 15-49 in 2017, with countries colored on a sequential yellow-to-red scale based on infection rates. Missing data renders in gray. Built with React and D3 v6, the map uses `geoNaturalEarth1` and `geoPath` to project world atlas TopoJSON data, while CSV data from the IHME is joined to country codes via a lookup table.
