This scatter plot compares the 2010 and 2020 population and representative counts for U.S. states. It shows changes by drawing a thin line from each state’s 2010 position to its 2020 position, with circles marking the 2020 values. The visualization uses d3.csv to load data and d3.scaleLinear, d3.scaleSqrt, d3.axisLeft, and d3.axisBottom to build the axes and scales. SVG rendering displays the marks. The dataset comes from the apportionment-2020.csv file hosted on GitHub.
