This visualization maps the global distribution of missing migrants, with circles sized by the total number of dead and missing per location. D3’s `geoNaturalEarth1` projection and `geoPath` render land, country interiors, and graticules from TopoJSON data. The circular marks, scaled using `scaleSqrt`, overlay incident coordinates from a CSV subset of the Missing Migrants Project dataset. Built with React and D3 v7, the SVG plot shows darker clusters around major migration routes across the Mediterranean and the US–Mexico border.
