This bar chart visualization shows the top five goal scorers for a selected football league and year, with dropdown menus to filter by metric (goals, shots, xG, minutes), league, and season. The chart uses D3.js scale functions for axes and bars, rendering an inner rectangle background and labeled x and y axes. Data comes from a football scorers dataset, and the visualization updates dynamically based on user selections.
