This fork of an area chart visualizes car sales in India from 2009 to 2019, combining a smooth line and a filled pink area to emphasize the sales trend over time. The SVG chart uses D3 v5's `scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`, `line`, and `area` generators with `curveBasis` for smoothing, along with `axisBottom` and `axisLeft` for labeled axes. Data is loaded via `csv` from a GitHub gist, and the year values are parsed with `d3.timeParse`.
