This example shows a force-directed network of eight people connected by “Friend with” relationships, with node size and link thickness both fixed regardless of tie strength. Each person appears as a pink circle with a maroon label, and directional arrows on the links indicate the relationship’s direction. The layout is computed using d3.forceSimulation with d3.forceLink, d3.forceManyBody, d3.forceCollide, and d3.forceCenter, while nodes are rendered as SVG circles and can be dragged via d3.drag. Data is loaded from a JSON file containing explicit node and link arrays.
