This visualization tracks global cumulative COVID-19 deaths over time using a log-scaled line chart. Each line represents a country with over 10,000 deaths, sourced from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Dataset. The chart renders multiple time series as SVG paths, with a highlighted blue line for the currently hovered country. A Voronoi overlay, built with d3.Delaunay and d3-delaunay, assigns each point to a cell, enabling intuitive mouse interaction that triggers hover detection across all lines. The React-based implementation uses D3 scales, axes, and line generators.
