This example displays a world map with semi-transparent points representing cities, overlaid on a natural Earth projection. The visualization uses D3 v5’s `geoNaturalEarth1` and `geoPath` to render the sphere, graticules, landmasses, and country interiors from a TopoJSON world atlas, while city coordinates from a CSV are projected and drawn as circles. React manages the component state, fetching data asynchronously with `useEffect` and rendering the SVG marks via a custom `Marks` component.
