This example visualizes the distribution of IMDb movie ratings across genres, using a horizontal stacked bar chart to show the proportion of ratings in five categories from below 5.0 to above 8.5. The chart loads data from a local CSV file and renders it as SVG using D3 v7, with d3.stack for the stacked layout and d3.scaleOrdinal for color encoding. Interactive tooltips display the exact percentage for each genre-rating segment on mouseover, and the axis labels are formatted with d3.format.
