This visualization plots the number of migrant deaths and disappearances over time, using a logarithmic y-scale to accommodate the wide range of reported totals. Each circle represents an individual report, with its position determined by the reported date on the x-axis and the total dead and missing on the y-axis. The chart is built with React and D3 v6, using `scaleTime`, `scaleLog`, and `extent` for scales and domains, and renders as SVG with custom `AxisBottom`, `AxisLeft`, and `Marks` components. Data comes from a CSV of Missing Migrants Global records, loaded via `d3.csv`.
