This interactive visualization shows the number of crime cases against women in India, organized by state and crime type for any year from 2006 onward. A choropleth map displays the data, while two donut charts provide filters: one for selecting the year, the other for choosing a specific crime category like rape or kidnapping. The application uses D3.js v7 with the topojson library for the map's geographic shapes and the d3.pie, d3.arc, and d3.rollups functions to aggregate and render the charts. It is built as a React component, updating its display whenever the user changes a dropdown selection.
