This example visualizes the relationship between miles per gallon, horsepower, origin, and weight for vehicles from the Auto MPG dataset. The scatter plot encodes the quantitative fields on the x- and y-axes while using color and size to represent categorical origin and continuous weight, with tooltips showing vehicle names. Built using the Vega-Lite API, it registers Vega, Vega-Lite, and D3’s CSV loader to fetch remote data and render an interactive SVG chart with customized axis and label styling.
