This example visualizes Netflix subscriber areas by quarter using a single red line chart rendered as an SVG. The code uses d3.csv to load data from a GitHub gist and maps quarterly values to a time-based x-axis and a linear y-axis. d3.scaleTime, d3.scaleLinear, d3.axisBottom, d3.axisLeft, and d3.line generate the axes and path, with gridlines styled via tickSize. The visualization includes labeled axes and a title, with the line path styled through CSS.
