A static bar chart with value labels responds to a mouse click on a paragraph. The transition updates the bar heights, positions, and fill colors over a deliberately slow five-second animation. Built with D3.js version 4.5.0, the SVG elements animate using the `.transition()` and `.duration(5000)` methods. The `d3.scaleBand` and `d3.scaleLinear` functions map data indices and values to pixel coordinates, while the dataset is an inline array of twenty integers.
