This example renders a family tree as an animated SVG dendrogram using React and D3 v6. The code builds hierarchical data from a flat child-parent array via `d3.stratify()`, then computes node positions with `d3.tree()`. Circles represent individuals, linked by maroon path edges that animate from parent to child on load. Node labels fade in sequentially based on depth, while the tree layout fills a fixed 950x300 viewport.
