This map visualizes the four key locations in Buddha's life across India and Nepal, using color-coded markers for birth, enlightenment, first teaching, and parinirvana. Interactive tooltips provide details on hover. The visualization loads GeoJSON map data and CSV site coordinates, then renders them with D3.js, using `d3.geoMercator` for projection and `d3.geoPath` for drawing shapes. The SVG output includes a legend and labels for each site.
