This example shows a 3D scatter plot of the Palmer Penguins dataset, mapping body mass, culmen length, and flipper length on the x, y, and z axes. Points are colored by species using a custom color scale. It loads the CSV data via `d3.csv`, then builds a `scatter3d` trace with Plotly.js, styling markers and colored axis backgrounds. Rendering is WebGL-based, and the plot is drawn into a div using `Plotly.newPlot`.
