It uses a bar chart rendered with SVG, where each bar’s height represents the arrest count for a specific day. The visualization is built with d3.v7, using d3.scaleBand and d3.scaleLinear for the axes. When a month is selected, the bars and axes update with a smooth transition over two seconds, and a title dynamically reflects the chosen month. Data is loaded from a remote CSV file.
